the sun rises

above the trees

on this may morning

accidently

smearing a gnat across my page

i examine the stain

that a moment ago

was full of life



how would i know

that it would end like this

the harvest moon rising high

above the poplars

and me thinking of you



am i to end in dust

then set me free in the sky

swirlling in the sun's light

a rainbow colored kite

dancing in the wind



flying my fighter kite

tiny violets share the spot

where i am standing

on the surface of the earth

revoling around a star

please excuse the clutter, this mobile hangs in my studio\hobby room . The mobile is made from my collage sketches,bamboo and some string! The secret to designing a mobile sculpture is to start at the bottom and work your way to the top....michaela

Fighter kite art

here is another kite that i designed and built recently, i was able to use acetone to remove color from its mylar sail to give a three panel effect....michaela

just finished building a new fighter kite and wanted to show it to you

The sail is made from mylar, i used acetone to remove the red color resulting in a 2 panel look!
